Some PDF to Word Converter is one of the better free PDF-to-Word format converters out there, but like its competition it's far from perfect. Its interface is basic but uncluttered, even with all of the user options handily available in a sidebar on the right. It handles batch conversions, converts outer fonts into text and embedded fonts into images, and supports both All Pages and page-range specific conversions. Some PDF can also remove graphics on demand from the output document, which is always in the RTF format.
Its biggest drawback is that the conversions aren't always the cleanest, and PDFs that contain image and text formatting that would be complicated in MS Word sometimes overlap. There is noticeable image deterioration as well. It would be helpful if you could add PDFs by drag and drop, but you can't. In its place, you can choose an entire folder of PDFs via the folder icon. Some of the interface's option descriptions could be better phrased, too: "delete all graphics" with an option of "false" or "true" really could be posed better as "remove all graphics" and "yes" or "no."
The imperfections are not minor, but neither are they insurmountable. Even with them, this is a decent PDF-to-RTF converter, with speedy batch conversion, support for encrypted PDFs, and room for improvement.

does the conversion, but..

places text in random text boxes, very difficult and time consuming to edit. Also cannot distiguish "f," "ff," "fl," "fi," ffi,"--leaves space where these characters should be, and sometimes leaves random spaces within words.

Apart from this, it is workable. Maybe author can fix "f" problem. Otherwise it would be tolerable. Can be edited in Word in NORMAL view w/o as many hassles as Page Layout view. Text boxes can not be removed without tremendous patience--would be okay for small documents, but if you're trying to do a large one, be prepared for a lot of work using the spell checker.

Converted each page of a 14-page PDF into images, then opened them in Word... 5 stars.

Couldn't get the program to launch again. Tried exiting the program, and re-installing it. -2 stars.
Summary
I am 100% happy with the results of the first document I processed with it, but lost my enthusiasm for the product when I couldn't get it to launch again. Images in Word can be set to the background, where text and images can be placed on top of them. I would have given it a 5-star rating had I been able to re-launch the program and convert additional documents... But maybe it's just user error. ;p

Conversion is horrible. The one document I tried had a lot of very plain text and no images and was barely readable after conversion.

I suspect that a lot of the conversion tools that take a document FROM PDF to Word or RTF have the same problems, but they really just don't work well enough to make it worth it.

Don't waste your time, for every in your pdf it makes an image and then inserts each image into word. I would expect to be able to copy and paste text or edit the text. For this I recommend ReadIris Pro, I tried a few versions, 11 pro found it to be the best were I can take a pdf and make it text, formating may not be perfect, but you can work with something.
