SoftCollection LCD Clock is a LCD clock. The application allows the clock's transparency to be changed. It may be placed anywhere on the screen. It may be hidden or shown by a single mouse click on the systray icon. It may be set to always be on top of other windows. It has an option to run automatically when Windows starts. Places of day and month may be swapped. The program has two possible time formats, 12:00AM and 00:00, and it automatically remembers the last state. If the clock is near the edge of the screen, it gravitates to it. Version 1.99 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

This application slightly soups up the appearance of Windows' built-in clock, but its lack of certain features comes as somewhat of a disappointment. SoftCollection LCD Clock appears as a sleek-looking gray bar that shows the date and the time. However, since the program lacks any sort of skins, you're stuck with this design for good. You can make a few tweaks to the program's LCD, including altering the time/date format and setting the transparency. However, it would be a lot easier to make these adjustments if the program had a dedicated control panel; as it stands, you have to click random areas of the clock to make any changes. Looks aside, the program lacks functional enhancements such as an alarm clock, reminders, a syncing tool, and the ability to display the time in other corners of the globe. Considering its simplicity, we also think SoftCollection LCD Clock takes too much system memory when running in the background. If you really hate the appearance of Windows' clock, you might see some benefit in this program, but most users will prefer a more full-featured offering.
