From TheBlueScreens:

Instead of cluttering your taskbar with buttons, SmartMinimizer shows a minimized window as a taskbar notifications area icon (please notice the minimized Internet Explorer window shown as an icon in the picture to the right).

If a window is minimized, it can be restored either by clicking its icon in the taskbar notifications area or by using the 'Restore window' menu from the SmartMinimizer�s menu.
