From CFS-Technologies :SlideSaver displays images in either random or alphabetical order and provides the ability to configure mouse sensibility and image refresh rate. This program supports JPEG, GIF, WMF and BMP. You can also password protect your creations. If you register Slide Saver (Registering is free) it supports three other image formats.

Pros: It did what it said it would with no fuss and virtually no configuration
Cons: It should have a tick box labelled "include subfolders" for the image path - that simple addition would make it hugely more powerful
