Sigster is a search engine that finds hash quicklinks on the Web. These quicklinks helps you download virus-free and fake-free files from various P2P networks. Sigster finds Ed2k, Sig2dat, Magnet, and BitTorrent links, which means that you can search for files in the following networks: FastTrack (Kazaa, iMesh, Grokster), eDonkey2K (eDonkey, eMule, Shareaza), Gnutella (Shareaza, Limewire, Morpheus, Bearshare, Xolox), and BitTorrent.

"I have a very low opinion of this product."
Pros: I liked the name of this product. It reminded me of "sister" so I figured I could trust it! haha
Cons: Then I remembered exactly how much I can really trust my sister. (0%)
Right after I downloaded it, my computer crashed.---completely. I had to reinstall XP; I couldn't repair it or save anything at all. I'm not saying this product ruined my operating system's health, but I can say that I don't do stupid things to ruin it! Something happened out of the ordinary, and timewise, it coincided with the downloading of this program.

"Possible adware & very slow!"
Pros: The concept is very good, esp. for those looking for rarer files on P2P networks. A tool like this could help you search through dozens of indexing sites, automatically ...if it really works! The installer is quite small (but it is an installer, and not a stand alone proggy).
Cons: There are reports from various testing sites that this product bundles ad-ware. Hence I tried it under emulation only. It was VERY slow and CPU usage was through the roof ...and slowed down everthing else! The search options are minimalistic - you can only search all the networks (edonkey, gnutella, torrents, fasttrack) or you can search only one network ...nothing in-between! No options for specifying file sizes or anything else. That said, it does find some hash links, but you need to take a very long cofee break after you keep it for searching! What it does for so long is anybodys guess. I found the proggy rather suspicious. It also seems to make SEVERAL files and cookies, etc, in the cache, etc. While I didnt have the time to test it too well, the extremely slow speed, reports of ad-ware budling, and the excessive processor usage dont make this proggy worth the trouble...

"rubbish didn't install properly"

Cons: this programme wouldn't even open I have tried several times to install it and it still doesn't open
Summary: as I have been unable to open this programme I am unable to comment on it. I double click on the icon and it comes up saying sigster has stopped working so windows will close it!!!!!
