Although the bigger names in the P2P world still maintain the lion's share of users, several smaller entities have popped up. These programs appeal to those fed up with the fluff and third-party software often found in the more popular applications.
Shareaza is focused and lean, with a gorgeous interface and connections to the Gnutella2, Gnutella, eDonkey, and BitTorrent networks. It's also handsome and easy to use; we had no trouble quickly figuring out how to search, check our network status, and customize the interface through a healthy choice of skins. Search results were extremely fast, although we wish each new search automatically spawned a new tab. Shareaza also has a decent built-in media player for common audio and video formats. Other features include a chat client and the ability to schedule transfers.
The file-management system, with a slew of folders divided and subdivided into all sorts of categories, may overwhelm novices, though seasoned file-sharers probably won't have that much trouble. Overall, though, Shareaza's design, performance, and trim size provide make it a nice choice for peer-to-peer users.

Shareaza's interface is easy to use, yet powerful and fully skinnable. Shareaza's download core was built to provide optimum performance from any number of sources. Shareaza can manage your download queue automatically, or you can take charge and modify the status of files or even individual physical transfers and sources.
Version 2.2 has multiple fixes on all supported networks, providing vastly improved multinetwork, peer-to-peer file-sharing capabilities. There also are several new features, including a scheduler, a review viewer, enhanced translations, and improved metadata support. Help facilities and documentation have been improved to make the application easier to use, while a variety of options to improve performance on low-end computers have been added.

"Best File Sharing Program Out There!"
Pros: 1) Gnutella2 is AMAZING!
2) Multi-Network downloading is awesome
3) It is OPENSOURCE
4) Clean and NO spyware or ads or anything!

"Dude, Where is my downloads?"
Pros: 1) Very configurable
2) Good search results
3) Fast Downloads
4) Setup is very comprehensive
5) Loads Fast (well, faster than Limewire)
This is just a good all around file sharing client.
Cons: If you are like me and do alot of P2P'ing then you are likely to get a headache. Literally! The user interface is much to cluttered. If you are a novice, plan on reading for an hour or two to get the most out of it. The library system is way to busy looking. Sometimes it can be kinda tricky to find a file once it's downloaded. Limewire is just as good for searching but without the eye strain. I think this wins the silver, but LimeWire is still a gold medalist.

"Works just as well as any other P2P software!"
Pros: Ok, this thing uses less resources than the other big p2p clients...
Its all those spyware adware virus free (im still checking this!)...but so far it is...its a good client. There is nothing wrong with it, but the cons...( oh yeah i rated this a 4/5 but for some odd reason on all my ratings, they're turned to 3/5 stars)
Cons: Ok, downloading, could be a pain to some poeple...igot SP2 and xp and all the stuff...and what happens is, once you get your file and its says "active" it gets all these people that have it...For 5 min, you will prob think, it will neevr download...BUT WAIT, it will, wait like 10 min, or 15...but it will download, and then it will download fast!

Pros: g2 is still small but EXTREMELY efficient and it still downloads off of all 4 major networks and support bittorrent. ITs opensource, and not ad supported. I LOVE IT!

"everything is good except the downloads"
Pros: NO SPYWARE.Beware ad-aware and spybot will not pick up the spyware on most p2p apps.Try spy subtract(after the trial ends it runs it basic mode!)or spyware doctor.Everything seems good except...
Cons: The downloads hardly start at all.If there is 600 hosts then why the heck is it not downloading the file.It seems like it's always pending never downloading and yes i disabled the firewall,anti virus, everything lol!
