An animated screensaver shows a picture of a fairy castle in a winter night. Snow is falling and falling. A planet is flying above the castle and illuminates the snowy forest by its light. A rose is growing on the planet. Somebody is wandering through the empty dark rooms of the castle bringing a lamp. Find out if there is any connection between him and the rose. The music knows the answer.

This screensaver makes a satisfactory addition to your desktop, but we must voice a few complaints. True to its name, the program shows you a castle on a dark and snowy winter's night. Besides the falling snow, you'll notice a luminous object periodically drifting across the screen. We couldn't tell what it was, but the developer's description claims it's a planet, so we'll take their word for it. Screensaver Snowy Castle's graphics appear to be pretty decent, but it's hard to really see their detail, as the overall scene is quite dark. We do think the flute-based music properly fits the mood, but we're still glad you can turn it down or disable it. However, we missed other features--particularly a tool for adjusting brightness--and think the trial period is far too short. All told, we think younger users will get the most out of downloading this application.

  "Not worth the trouble"

  Summary: Took FOREVER to download, then needed to download DirectX, and not worth the effort. Thought there would be alot more to it. Definately NOT worth paying for.
