Publisher's Description
From WLAR Group:
ScreenChopper is an application that facilitates taking snapshot of your computer screen. You can take the shot by only one key stroke at any time and an immediate snapshot manipulation is provided for you to chop(crop) off any part you want to save as a bitmap file. Also when the snapshot(or a part of it) is saved, you may ask the image being saved with a different size from actual one to get a stretched or resampled image to fit you need.
When ScreenChopper starts up, it stays in system tray of your computer. So you can make the program to run as your computer starts up since it does not take up your desktop space, and easily snapshot the screen at any time you like.

"Simple to use, does the job, and it's free."
Version: ScreenChopper 1.0.1
Pros
I found Screenchopper very easy to use from the first time I used it. I was able to "chop" one element on the screen; save it; and then, using Pixia, paste it into a different illustration. It is good for cropping photos or art that are surrounded by unnecessary and unwanted background; the cropping can be done before the picture is saved, rather than saving it as is and doing the cropping later with another program.
Cons
When a picture larger was than the screen, and the part I wanted to chop was also, there appeared to be no way to chop it.

"Doesn't work!!!!!"
Version: ScreenChopper 1.0.1
Summary
It acts like it is working, but when you go to view the .bmp file, it is just a BLACK picture (three separate tries), but at least the size of the pic is the same as you set.(*@!)..if you wanna practice your uninstall technique, this is for you....

"Does Exactly What I need it to"
Version: ScreenChopper 1.0.1
Summary
I am not a developer, but I am in QA testing new software. I just needed a simple freeware program to take a screen shot when I troubule shoot. It works great. I like it better than other porgrams that ppl in the office have paid for.
