This program is designed to encrypt your text messages so they can be read only by someone with the appropriate key, but ScrambleIC failed to decrypt messages during our testing. The software resembles Notepad and works the same way with the exception of the encryption feature. A Key Manager lets you specify a key's name and password, and these are purportedly designed to encrypt or decrypt messages. Senders submit the key to the recipient for decryption, but in our tests the keys failed to reveal the message. With the only feature that sets this application apart from other Notepad alternatives not working, there's little reason for any user to download this freeware program.Publisher's description
From Shiver Interactive Software :ScrambleIC is an expansion on the basic Notepad concept. It's a basic text-editor with all the features you would expect from Notepad, with the added ability to encrypt and decrypt files using public and private keys.
