This application searches and identifies active and inactive ports, though this is the only feature it offers. ScanPort has a basic, no-frills interface. Press Scan, and the program identifies closed, open, or filtered ports for a given address. While results are displayed clearly in the main panel, it gives such brief information that only advanced users will fully understand them and there's no Help file available. The publisher promises printing capabilities for the results, but there's no such option available. You can copy and paste them, however. Aside from the missing print option, this freeware program works perfectly. This can be a good diagnostic tool for more advanced users, such as network administrators, since it can provide accurate results about the status of scanned ports.Publisher's description
From Roadkil :This utility scans a given IP address for ports that are closed, listening for connections or being filtered through a firewall. The details of the active ports can be printed. A great tool for finding cracks in your systems security.
