SWF & FLV Player is a basic media player that allows users to play Flash files in both the SWF and FLV formats. There was nothing about the program that particularly impressed us, but it did work well enough for playing both types of files.
The program's interface is sleek and fairly intuitive, although we did find it slightly annoying that the program's viewer, controls, and playlist display in three different modules. We tried viewing both SWF and FLV files with this application, and both file types worked just fine. We liked that the program lets users create playlists of videos, and for the most part we found the program's features easy to use. Users should note, however, that some of the program's more interesting features, including the ability to convert SWF files to an image series and capture SWF screenshots, are disabled in the free version of the program. SWF & FLV Player also lets users save SWF files from Web sites, but although users can preview this feature by entering a Web address and having the program locate and play the SWF files, actually saving the files requires the paid version of the program. Users hoping to download YouTube videos should look for a different program; as far as we can tell, even the paid version of the program only downloads SWF files, and YouTube files are in the FLV format. The program's Help file is adequate. Overall, we found the free version of SWF & FLV Player to be functional but somewhat limited in terms of features.
SWF & FLV Player is free. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

My screen shaking, top of my voice shouting is with YOU IMMINENT! I deselected all the toolbar crap in the installer options "AND IT STILL DOWNLOADS ITSELF"

Uninstalling caused issues with Avira AntiVirus and I had to do a system restore, completely uninstall & reinsall Avira.
