Pros
Does exactly what it says and does it well, but I docked a star because it is overpriced in comparison with other utilities, especially when considering upgrades.
Cons
Needs larger desktop views. Upgrades of minor releases should be free (they are not if you purchased more than a year ago). Skin downloads are unavailable after first year and saved skins must be applied manually. should be free always.
Summary
Great software, just don't expect any support. 1 year passes quickly and its not worth paying near full price of the software to keep current.

This product is easily worth the price. It is NOT worth 80% of the price EVERY YEAR to keep support and skin downloads going as SOTI hasn't put out so much as a new build of PocketController Pro in over 18 months (and 20% off is often the same price you can find it for on Handango via a promotion code)! Charge me once and be done with it. Charge me more if you have to do it because the product is worth it. I know it's possible. Shape Services promises free upgrades to IM+ in perpetuity and because any given IM Network can (and often do) break their application at an instant, they have to do this a lot.

I don't often write reviews or provide feedback, but my impression of this product is such that I felt I must.This has been an outstanding product that I use regularly for Texting, viewing PDA-centric information and installing software on my XV6800 (and XV6700 before that). It's always worked perfectly and has been intuitive and easy to use and install. It's saved a lot of time and device wear by being able to use the PC keyboard in leau of the PDA screen or keyboard.Highly recommended!

This program acts like it should of originally would be installed on your Pocket PC/Smartphone (and it should of been). . Your PC Pocket/Smartphone shows enlarged on your computer/laptop screen and is easier to use. No more squinting or handling a sometimes clumsy stylus, especially when you dont have to. Runs any program already installed on your PC Pocket/Smartphone OR easier to add another program to it. Skins are included and are upgradable to custom fit application. Requires Activesync or Use Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC), which replaces ActiveSync for computers running Windows Vista.

Summary
I downloaded the trial and in 10 minutes was convinced I had to buy this software. I love my Motorola XP220 and but the buttons and steps needed to perform many tasks are tedious now I can do them on my PC with a mouse. Great.

Thought I'd give this program a try and what a great investment! I can work without touching my phone for any reason and reyurn text messages at lightning speed! When my friends asked how i was returning such lengthy text messages so fast, I told them about the pocket controller and they brought it the same day..

After an initial software connectivity issue, which was fixed with a response within a 24-hour period from the software vender, have had no problems at all. I love the ability to work on my Cingular 8525 from my computer. Great!

Summary
I dowloaded the trial and within minutes of using the application I bought it. It allows me to use the functions of my pda and phone while connected to my computer. Text messages, dial directly from my contacts list, view alerts and I haven't even touched all the features. It has made my pda an even better production tool.
