Although this free screensaver does what it promises, its dearth of features, mediocre image quality, and slim picture library will leave most users unimpressed. As you'd likely guess, SKWChicagoScreenSaver brings images of the Windy City to your desktop, most of which were taken downtown. A few of the pictures look decent enough, but the majority of them suffer from underexposure and artifacts. Also, the program contains only 10 photos and omits many of Chicago's most famous landmarks, such as Wrigley Field and the Sears Tower. And since SKWChicagoScreenSaver won't let you reorder the shots, set the image interval, or configure its settings in any manner, the application loses its freshness in short order. This program's lack of adware is encouraging, but it needs some major work before we can be more positive.
