This screensaver seems original next to the countless programs that feature images of nature, animals, or bikini-clad women. Ripple Screensaver turns your computer desktop into a rain-washed pond. After installation, you're prompted to customize the settings. You can select an image or use whatever image is on your desktop, and you choose between a rippling or a rainy effect. If you select your desktop as the image, the program generates ripples that become more pronounced over time. You also can add the sounds of nature to the screensaver. If you're looking for a screensaver that's out of the ordinary, you may enjoy this one.Publisher's description

Pros: looks cool, nice effects
Cons: They don't mention until you have it downloaded that it'll cost $14.95 if you want to use it after 10 days. They should be upfront with this information.

"Nice visuals, sound gets crazy, ITS NOT FREE!"

Pros: I just downloaded the trial version and I'm blown away. Realistic thunder, gorgeous visual effects. I'm almost ready to throw away my Paxil and just watch the screen saver to relax!
Cons: Beautiful that it is, the relaxing effect is disturbed by the way some of the thunder is cut off abruptly. If I could CHOOSE to listen only to storm sounds (which many people find relaxing) where the thunder gets the chance to rumble off in the distance and then hear the SOUND OF RAIN COMING DOWN with intermittant thunder, that would cinch it for me!
The ability to slow or hasten the visual effects would also be a plus.
