We admire this free extension for its unique design, but form definitely does not equal function with this Firefox theme.

RedShift V2 RC1 replaces your current browser theme with a black and red color scheme. The toolbar features a black background. The navigational buttons also are black, with red highlighting the symbol and outline of each button. We're guessing the red is supposed to make the buttons more readable, but it doesn't seem to help. The drop-down menus and sidebar are at least a little more readable because they feature white text on a black background, but they still don't make up for the rest of the browser interface.

This Firefox theme is too hard on the eyes. It's free if you want to try it, but we're guessing that most will tire of it pretty quickly.
