When all you've is got a hammer, every problem looks suspiciously like a nail. RarZilla is a great little utility for automatically unraring RAR archives, but it doesn't do much else. Depending on whether that's all you're looking for, RarZilla is either just the tool you need or woefully inadequate.
The program does a wonderful job of unzipping--sorry, unraring--RARs, and it provides three methods for achieving that goal. You can select the "RarZilla!" option from the context menu associated with any RAR file in Windows Explorer, you can double-click the RAR, or you can drag and drop the RAR onto the program interface. To aid in the last one, the program is permanently set to live on top unless you minimize it. We found that annoying, but your mileage may vary. It extracts the compressed files to the same folder in which the RAR lives. RarZilla is squarely aimed at those users who predominantly use the RAR format. Fans of other archive formats should look elsewhere for an extractor or a traditional archiving/unarchiving tool.

Decompression can be started by drag 'n' drop, double click or shell integrated context menu. To speed the whole process up, RarZilla has the option to define a default output folder or a default password or both.

Version: RarZilla Free Unrar 2.53
Pros: RarZilla has been my choice over the last year when it comes to fast RAR file extraction. It works fast and easy - I like it very much.
The new feature, that RarZilla tells you, where it extracts the files, is sometimes quite useful to me.
Also it waits for about two seconds after extraction, so I can still read where the files went, even if the package got extracted in less than a second. Nice.

"Why pay for a program when you can get this free?"
Pros: I recently had two rar files that I could not extract with other programs; very unusual. I kept getting error messages about broken files. So I downloaded RarZilla, and this program did what the other two could not! The files were intact and perfect.
Cons: None that I've come upon yet, I'm a new user, but RarZilla sure saved me a lot of headaches when other programs were reporting broken files but RarZilla opened them.

Pros: No hassles, very easy, just double click the folder and you have it uncompressed.
Cons: Probably they should try to integrate some compression too (rar) for free

"Installed quick, worked well"
Pros: Small footprint, quick download and install, free, and extracted the files quickly and easily.
Cons: Who the heck needs the hassle of having an additional weird format to have to extract from, I would prefer to never see a RAR file again.
Summary: If you have received information in this obscure RAR format, this utility will make it quite painless to get the files extracted and get on with your life.

"Rarzilla does not open password protected files."
Pros: It works okay with typical rar files.
Cons: It would not open a password protected rar file. It did not even display an error message; it just blipped and went back to sitting there.
