While application starting it probably checks internet connection and goind down if there's no such one. It is probably because of proxy that my corporate server has.

Pros
Full featured rapidshare download manager. Actually more features than Rapidshare download manager, which only works with Vista. Stable, and seems to handle lots of links in the queu. Is relatively speedy too. Doesn't use much memory. Good stuff.
Cons
trial version has some limitations, for $6 upgrade, you get a "speed booster", and can support more simultaneous downloads.
Summary
OK, for me, this is a pleasant discovery. I've used a rudimentary-looking version of rapget in the past that was a fake one, and that actually stole my account info and leeched into my account. This is a completely different program and has changed my conception of Rapget. A note for user's of other download managers. Many will inflate your download totals with Rapidshare's servers, and create an overestimate of how large a downloaded file was. For example, a 100 mb file will register anywhere from 101mb to 110mb's in your download totals. You can typically reduce this overage by adjusting your settings, but at the cost of speed. Yet with many, you can't eliminate it. This obviously can become a concern for premium users. A program like the Rapget should avoid this issue. Just get the real version!

For Rapidshare Premium users only... at least as far as I can tell... help is very limited and most of the website is in the Czech language.
Summary
I am looking for a RS download manager that will work without an RS account... or with a "Collector" account on RS. This doesn't seem to fit the bill. When I enter my Collector Account name and password, I get an invalid account message from the software, and there is no way to bypass having an account name entered.
I'm giving them a "mediocre" rating here because none of this is explained anywhere that I can see it. So I just wasted my time installing and testing this for nothing.
