Version: RSSRadio Podcast Client 1.33
"The Podcast client to rule them all."
Pros: Get this program if you want the best Podcast client out there and aren't afraid of shelling out a few bucks. Very function heavy, and configurable. Yet it is also easy to use. Author is very quick with help in both emails and forums.
I'd recommend going to RSSRadio's website and getting their beta which gives you full use of the program for 30 days (rather than a limit of 5 podcasts).
For media support, RSSRadio supports: Itunes, Windows Media Player, JRiver's Media Center, USB Flash disks, and playlist support. This edition I believe you have to download plugins off of the website for some of those, but the betas include them in default installation. I use the Media Center one, and it works GREAT.
There's a lot more that can be said... RSSRadio is real feature rich. Download the player and let the podcasts rip.
Cons: It's not free. But $17.50 isn't a bad price at all. The program is a little "heavy" so if you have an older/slower pc you may want to consider something else. Registration requires online activation. I personally dislike this, as it adds yet another step when reinstalling windows. As more and more programs do this it just gets worse. Worse yet, mine developed amnesia and everytime I tried to register RSSRadio would accept it, but stay unregistered after clicking ok. I think it ended up being a .net problem as I updated that and finally got it working. Author was very helpful with this.
