"100% Clean."
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Pros
Unlike unfree gamemaking software, the toolkit is very flexible.
Cons
Not very good for beginners at coding.
Did download.com get permission from Khin to put on Freija?Summary
It has no viruses, Avira and AVG detect it because of the get() function, which works like a key logger. The RPG TK's RPG Code system makes it more powerful then most other unfree game making things. For example, the RPG Toolkit was designed for rpgs, but have been made into strategy games, shooters, retro, mario like, fighting games, etc... all because of a uneasy for newbies RPG Code system.
Though the default systems sorta suck, you can code custom ones. -
"GAVE ME A VIRUS!!"

"good, but not what I expected..."
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Pros
Good features, has support, and it's clean(Scanned it too)
Cons
The help files were hard to understand, making game development a big challenge for starters. It also has no uninstaller, so you have to remove it using add/remove programs.
-
"Pretty Good"
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Pros
Makes it possible to make your own games, what more can I say?
Cons
A fairly steep learning curve here, with no obvious ways of going about making a game (the guide is fairly useless).
-
"Simple, Limited, but incredibly easy."
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Pros
The simplicity of use.
The scripting options.
Cons
The included graphics made me want to vomit.
And a few general bugs.
Note: There isn't any spyware included with this package. No idea why that jackass cried wolf, but it's spyware free, I ran a scan just to make sure. In fact, this program didn't even edit my registry, so EVEN if it did install spyware (which it didn't) I'd be pretty safe. If you're skeptical, then just:
1) Create a system restore point prior to installation (or use scp)
2) Run an active scan while installing.
Overall this program was good, but definitely not great. I can see it kicking ass in the future though.

"Downloaded and scanned"
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Pros
Downloaded and Scanned it, ignore Maelstrom, its fine, no spyware, viruses, trojans or anything like that.
Haven't tested the actual program yet but I can tell you the download is clean and perfectly safe.

"Trojans!!"
Version: RPG Toolkit Development System 3.1
Cons
No pros I detected multiple trojans during installation so I aborted immediately. Do not download!
