This application promises a better way to manage hot keys, but falls short in a few areas. Qliner Hotkeys opens with a plain window offering a virtual keyboard when you press and hold the Windows key. You'll find brief Tips, but only one provides any specific guidance to configure hot keys through the right-click menu. There's no Help file. The virtual keyboard was nicely designed, but you had to continue holding the Windows key to view it, while the initial window stayed on top. You'll see icons on keys with existing shortcuts, and as promised, you can view a Properties window. Item name, key, and path are displayed. Command line item and Add in are the only type options, and the program doesn't show other keys like Ctrl or Win used for the shortcut. You can drag and drop items to keys and the same fields are displayed. More advanced users may appreciate this freeware program, but novices will be confused by the lack of direction.Publisher's description
