It had me uninstall my slipstream web accelerator for nothing!
Summary
You can't use it unless you have a password, but they don't tell you that until you install it and uninstall your current accelerator. I had slipstream. So now I have nothing. If you ever use slipstream be careful, slipstream disconnects at reviews, etc. and makes you lose information(you will need to disable it). I will be trying localnet.com soon and I think they have propel for 3.00 a month. I have 207me.com but I am diconnected every 15-20 min., I am not happy. I can't get DSL where I live even if I could afford it. I have read propel is very good and slipstream is almost as good although slipstream is improving, but slipstream is only offered to ISP I think. I wish I knew the best ISP for dial up.

I couldn't tell any difference at all. I uninstalled after four days and I got the confirmation that the subscription was canceled and my credit card was charged anyway. Lesson learned.

Cons
Beware of their free seven-day trial. They will ask you to register first and give them credit card information. Without a credit card, you will not be able to try it. What a sick idea!

"WORKS BEAUTIFULLY"

Pros
I've tried several web accelerators and none have worked as well as Propel.
To test it, I visited several of the slowest loading web sites that I know of, including the Moma store, Download.com, Food Network and Ebay.
I have dial-up through AOL, and all of these pages loaded almost instantly, with the exeption of Ebay, and gave me the feeling of being on a DSL or modem connection. Even the links on the various web pages loaded just as quickly.
I had no problems installing or running the trial program.

Nothing, so far.
