PowerTask is the first drag and drop task setting CRON utility for the Macintosh. PowerTask launches application, documents or scripts automatically and at any time without any programming knowledge at all. As well, PowerTask posts reminders on the screen at any time. Tasks can run once or periodically and is flexible enough to run at the user's preference. Setting tasks is as easy as dragging files or text onto the task list window and then setting the time or period in which you want this task to run. PowerTask can launch files ranging from applications to web documents to AppleScripts and Frontier Scripts. With MRJ installed, PowerTask can also launch standalone Java Applications/Applets. Its uses are as varied as the number of Mac owners. As well, if your Mac crashes before a task is run, PowerTask will recover the tasks that needed to run and execute them while they are within their "run-until-stale" time window. Short cut menus store your most recently used tasks. Easy to install and simple to use.
