From Ergonis software :PopChar is a utility application that lets you insert special characters, accented and foreign letters, etc., into your documents. No need to search for and remember keyboard combinations. Just pop up the PopChar window, click the desired character, and the character appears in your current document.
If a font contains Unicode characters, you can see all of them, neatly arranged in the standard Unicode categories.
You can use the character table of PopChar X like a menu or make it "sticky" to insert multiple characters in a row. PopChar X also allows you to select the font and size of the characters to be inserted.

What's new in this version:
- The "P" box can now be hidden from the menu bar; it automatically appears when the mouse pointer enters the menu bar.
- Preference setting for the number of recent fonts to be shown in the font menu.
- Preference setting for the number of recently selected characters to highlight.
- It is now possible to close the PopChar window immediately after selecting a character or to keep it open until the "P" box is clicked again.
