PocketLight is a free application for MacOSX 10.3 that provides search capabilities for Mail.app mailboxes, iCal events, Addressbook.app records and files in a specified folder. PocketLight is accessible through a menubar icon or by hotkey and displays the results grouped by category. By just doubleclicking a result, it will be opened in the appropriate application.

  • fixed a bug that caused crashes
  • menubar icon can be hidden
  • sort-option
  • focus handling and command-option-F
  • improved user interface und shrink/unshrink feature
  • change hotkey (through command line - no UI - see help)
  • french localisation (thanks to Stephane C)
