A handy assistant for online bargain-hunters, PocketDeal is a Pocket PC tool that keeps track of prices in scores of online stores such as Amazon, Buy.com, Walmart.com, and Office Depot. The application provides users with constantly updated information on prices, discounts, and advertisement campaigns dealing with specific products. It can also keep a record of items bought, provide reminders for items that are regularly purchased, and generate reports that help track expenditures. The user interface is nicely streamlined, and most of the features tested worked well. Searches conducted while the PDA was connected to a desktop computer worked particularly quickly. A useful tool for people who watch their pennies, PocketDeal can help make the most out of online shopping.
