"Good Game"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
I love Pai Gow! This game covers the basics, the Total Commissions calculation on the game stats screen needs to be fixed, it would be nice if other players could be setup for stats purposes, maybe the option to payback your cash withdraws and keep the bet total after a loss. Thanks Brad

"Very similar to Las Vegas Rules, Needs little improvement."
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
Overall: Better than expected. Player should be able to bank. In Vegas, the dealer will not split two pair if he can put an ace in his low hand. This could be incorporated into the game for "Vegas Rules". Get rid of shuffling, it takes too long.

"Good game but needs to be polished up"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
This is a good version of the game. It would be nice if the player can be banker once in a while.

"Needs work"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
I'm a fan of PaiGow, and have been waiting since I got my Visor for a faithful translation of the game. This is close, however needs a little work. Primarily, the ranking is off. I got an Ace-high hand with a Joker, the dealer had King-high PaiGow, and instead of the push that I should have gotten, the dealer won. In another instance, I won with a tie on the two-card hand, when the dealer should have won. I'm very familiar with the rules of PaiGow, and this program (very) occasionally doesn't seem to follow them. Additionally, it would be nice to have an "ante" feature, where you could pay an ante which pays off if you get a high ranking hand (three of a kind or higher) like Vegas.

"Buggy game needs improvement before I'll pay for it"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
In addition to the previously-reported problem, the program fails to recognize the A-2-3-4-5 straight as the second highest possible straight. In one situation where I laid out the A-2-3-4-5 on top, the program told me the dealer's 7-8-9-10-J beat me. In another situation where I laid out the A-2-3-4-5 on top and A-8 on bottom, the program reported "You fouled your hand -- Player loses"

"If you're looking for basic paigow, then this will satisfy that need"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
I play Paigow religiously in Vegas and Reno, and I would only consider buying this game if it included some the variations: Fortune Bonus betting, envy bonuses, Dragon hands, a No Push option, and a player banker option (other computer players required).

"Best PaiGow game available on the palm. A couple of improvements will perfect the next release!"
Version: Pocket PaiGow 1.4
Summary
I bought the full version shortly after testing the trial. The only drawbacks are that denominations bigger than $100 are not available, and the big one, on a five card hand, the program doesn't always recognize lower cards to break a tie. Example - If dealer and player both have one pair of aces, but player has king high, and dealer has jack high, program sees a tie, not AAK vs AAJ.

"Very, very good!"

Amazing Palm OS version of Pai Gow. Highly addictive and fun to play. Much respect to A.K. Humphrey for putting this one together.
