Publisher's Description
From Mayhem!:
PiXel Check is a utility that allows you to easily turn on all or specific pixels on your LCD display, allowing you to check for bad or dead LCD pixels. Click the mouse button or press any key to dismiss a test or jump to the next color in the "Automatic" mode. To the best of my knowledge, this is the FIRST and ONLY LCD pixel checking utility for OS X. Why do I say this? Well, I couldn't find any, so I wrote PiXel Check! :) For those who care, it was written in Objective-C using Cocoa.
What's new in this version:
- Rebuilt with Project Builder/Interface Builder V1.1; Mac OS X V10.1 or higher is now required.
- Added multiple localizations
- Added speech; hear the name of the color that you're checking, spoken in the respective language!
- Added Preferences; turn speech on or off, and show or hide the pointer while checking piXels.
- Cleaned up some code, and fixed a tiny glitch.
