This screensaver takes you on a virtual tour of the City of Light, but it could certainly benefit from some improvements. The program's picture library features shots of Paris's most famous landmarks, including Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. However, image quality is not its strong suit; many of the shots are way too dark, and nearly all of them appear to have been taken several decades ago. It also would be nice if the application provided information captions and some sort of soundtrack. While you will find a nice library of transition effects, you can't set the delay between images or choose a random sequence. Also, some of the transitions are quite slow and may frustrate impatient users. Paris may be worth testing for the 30-day trial period and even might be worth buying since it's so cheap, but it's a strictly average choice in the long run.
