PangoBright is a simple utility that makes it easy to adjust the brightness of your monitor or monitors. DJs, theater techs, presentation givers, and anyone else who operates in a dark environment and doesn't want the screen stealing the show will love PangoBright.
PangoBright requires no installation and appears as an icon in your system tray once it's opened. Clicking on it reveals a menu with brightness options ranging from 20 percent to 100 percent of maximum brightness. If you're using multiple monitors, the menu allows you to set the brightness of each one individually. That's all there is to it. The publisher's Web site contains information about the program and brief instructions, but they're really not necessary, as PangoBright is extremely intuitive. The program is also lightweight and not a drain on system resources; you won't even know it's there until you need it. Sometimes the smallest utilities can make a big difference, and that's definitely the case with PangoBright. Those who have ever worked in a dark environment and have wished that their monitor could easily tone it down will appreciate this clever tool.

After installation, PangoBright sits in the System Tray at the bottom right of your Windows screen. Just click on the red "P" logo, and the PangoBright pop-up menu appears. Scroll down to your desired brightness level and click.

If you need to adjust your computers screen brightness from time to time especially on a laptop, than pango bright is your ticket, the program is super simple to install, and when your done you will have a little icon in your task bar that you click on and you are able to quickly adjust your screens brightness levels, pango bright is perfect for laptops, instead of having to stop what you are doing in order to use the stock windows screen bright adjustment, now you just scroll down to your task bar and adjust your screen brightness to whatever you like, you will get 9 bright adjustments, this is perfect for laptops, especially if you are trying to conserve your battery's life, or if you are using your laptop outside and its too bright, you just click and lower your brightness, than when you move inside, another quick click, and you can turn up the brightness.

Useful in as much as you think that an easy way to reduce screen brightness can be. Maybe to ease eye strain as well. Taking a nap in the same room ? Lower the light level quickly. Works for me.
