P2P Rocket is a mediocre file-sharing program that lets users access the Gnutella and eDonkey networks. Although it works, it doesn't offer any compelling reasons to choose it over other popular file-sharing programs, and it has performance issues too.
P2P Rocket's interface is fairly intuitive, sharing the conventions of most P2P interfaces. It offers both basic and advanced search options, allowing users to fine-tune their search results. For the most part, the program worked as well any other Gnutella client. We did find that after the program had been open for a while, its interface stopped loading completely when we switched between it and other windows. For example, when we switched from Firefox to P2P Rocket, we could still see open tabs in Firefox where, presumably, some aspect of P2P Rocket's interface was supposed to be displayed. We're pretty sure this isn't some sort of built-in transparency feature, since it went away when we restarted P2P Rocket. It's also puzzling that, although the program claims it has a "power mode," which it further warns is for more advanced users, it doesn't have a Help file to explain it or any other feature. Overall, we weren't impressed with P2P Rocket, and we think there are many better P2P options available.
P2P Rocket is free. It installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program with reservations; it works, just not very well.
P2P Rocket is a highly reliable file-sharing program, a truly technological triumph that you can employ to download anything you want from movies and music to games, applications and documents. The installation is as quick and easy as it should be. All you have to do after connecting is type what you're looking for in search, and then double click to download it (and, eventually, set what you're sharing in the library field). This program supports Gnutella and eDonkey networks. P2P Rocket helps you locate some files that you can't find with other clients. P2P rocket comes with a permissive user interface, so that you can choose what best suits your needs. You can change these options at any time. P2P Rocket offers: Normal mode simple, easy to use menus and buttons. Power mode provides a bunch of extra commands, windows, for advanced users (it may be a little too complex for begginers). The P2P Rocket Settings Manager is quite flexible allowing users to completely customize their P2P Rocket behaviour. The settings in General section concern the user experience. The program also includes a P2P Rocket Remote Access feature which makes it possible for you to leave P2P Rocket running on your computer and control it remotely using a web browser. Main features: Very fast downloads from multiple sources simultaneously; Automatic resume feature enables the completion of all set off downloads; Advanced Search - all types of media files; Highly intuitive and easy -to-use interface; Access and view your friends shared files; Chat with friends as downloading; Bandwidth controls; Configurable Content Filter; Media Player with playlists and full-screen preview mode; Download scheduler.

Version: P2P Rocket 2.9.0
Can't mention any because I did not get the application
Downloaded the application and tried to install. I cancelled it because of a coupon plug in that was part of the installation, which would not give me the choice to opt out. I do not want a non-removable plug in taking up space on my web browser.
