CNET Editors' review
Spun off from OpenOffice.org, OxygenOffice Pro is virtually the same program, but with a few more features. Fortunately, it's much like its parent, and you can opt out of whatever features you dislike during the installation.
Originally called OpenOffice Premium, a misnomer like the current "pro" designation, the interface and basic functions remain unchanged from the source. OxygenOffice is all about the add-ons. Most notably it comes with a huge clip-art and photo gallery, 3,400 images strong and easy to drop into any Oxygen document. There are also extra fonts, templates, and sample docs included, useful for those who have forgotten or need a refresher for business letter formats and such, but they're not for every user.
One function that should have wide appeal is OooWikipedia, which lets you search Wikipedia without having to jump to your browser. Support for Visual Basic in Excel, and smoother WordPerfect document and graphics importation are small but useful improvements. There are also enhanced help menus and user's manuals, nice touches that reflect the extras that Oxygen gives. Despite these extras, we'd like to see more OpenOffice plug-ins included before making this a must-have.

"Microsoft What?"
Version: OxygenOffice Professional 2.3
Pros
How could U possibly want 2 pay 4 a program like Microsoft Office when U can have a program as robust as this 4 free
Nothing but Accolades
Cons
If having 2 many features could qualify as a con, then that would B my only complaint. The learning curve is very high, but if U want an awesome array of control over documents and the like, thats the price U have 2 pay

"Same, but different"
Version: OxygenOffice Professional 2.3
Pros
The Writer part had, as "advertised", more clip art in the gallery. Not as many as MS Word, mind you, but a good amount for most applications. The splash screen was cute--with the bubbles. More appealing for some female users--especially with the "Oxygen" in the title (reminds women of the cable Oxygen network, that was partially owned by Oprah). Even without the "girling-up", it's still a better alternative to any Microsoft application regardless.

"Awesome Word Processing"
Version: OxygenOffice Professional 2.3
Pros
Everything that you would ever want in Microsoft Word, but with editing features packed into the right click list of tasks to complete, making editing (double spacing, font, etc.) more accessible than word. OpenOffice Quickstarter makes opening any file a snap, literally instant. Familiar user interface for Windows users. A more professional product than WordPerfect or other Word knockoffs. ODT format is recognized by Google docs.
Cons
Quickstarter requires 60 mb of RAM.
ODT format is not supported by other word processing programs, but can save in .doc format.

"same as open office 2.3"
Version: OxygenOffice Professional 2.3
Pros
Is this not the same program as Open Office 2.3?
Cons
Why would you advertise something under a different name and not let the customers know about it? Is there really any difference than what OO 2.3 has?

"Must have enhancements for OpenOffice.org"
