"Pleasently surprised - did exactly what I needed."
Version: OutlookExport 1
Pros
The software navigated through my different outlook .pst files and found folder inside those files. I was able to select the contacts I wanted to export and each one was exported as it's own .vcf file.
Cons
The install script is in Italian (so they say), I couldn't read it. But I got the jist of it and used all the defalults and it worked.
Summary
I'm using Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. Having all the contact in separate vcf files is what I needed to transer contact to my new phone. I'm very happy I found this software. It's not beautiful, but it did what I needed to get done for free. I can't say that about everything else I found on the web. Thanks t-inform!

"Excellent"
Version: OutlookExport 1
Pros
Besides the install which is in Italian, the program is excellent. Exported my vcard really fast.
Cons
Most people will be discouraged that the installation is in italian but the Program is not!

"Useless, not a plug-in, not in English"
Version: OutlookExport 1
Cons
The installer is not in English, and this is NOT an Outlook Add-In, so what is it doing on download.com? It is a standalone application that exports contacts into individual contact (.vcf) files. It crashes for me half way through the export.

"Install at your own peril"
Version: OutlookExport 1
Pros
The thought of getting this functionality for free
Cons
Non-english install, doesn't work, made my "Import / Export" menu options not work anymore. Pay the 15 bucks for the good one.

"Poor, poor effort"
Version: OutlookExport 1
Pros
There's no virii? Honestly, for all I know it does not work or it works perfectly. You decide!
Cons
Well, where should we start? First, it is packaged with a non-english installer. In fact, the language the installer is packaged with is a language that is barely phoenetically similar to English, so the more linguistically resilient may even be stumped attempting to decode the process. However, it uses the standard Windows MSI install interface, so all is not for naught as if you know the interface then you are well enough off.
However, being that the instructions are also in mumbo-jumbo, I have no idea what path to assign the program. By default it states c:\program files\XX\OutlookExporter, which obviously implies some sort of interaction on the user's part to set it to the correct path for Office... or something. Again, I don't know, I can't read it, and I have no idea what language it's in.
Once you've put it in a folder, none of the files seem to actually load into Outlook. I've tried the Add-In Manager and the COM add-in manager and no luck with either. I have no idea how this is supposed to get plugged in to Outlook, and if my hunch about the GUI's language is correct, nor do I care to.
And there is no readme or other documentation included. For shame!
Stay away, unless you are feeling adventurous.
