From Microsoft :You can programmatically use the Simple MAPI calls MAPIAddress or MAPIResolveName to display the Outlook Address Book so that you can select recipients. When you do, if Outlook Express is set as your default e-mail client, and you select a distribution list as a recipient, user names may not appear. You can programmatically use the Simple MAPI calls MAPIAddress or MAPIResolveName to display the Outlook Address Book so that you can select recipients.
When you do so, if Outlook Express is set as your default e-mail client, and you select a distribution list as a recipient, user names may not appear. When you run the program code in a debugger, you may discover that the returned lpszAddress attribute of the MAPIRecipDesc structure contains garbage characters instead of the expected e-mail address or empty (NULL) string.
