Summary
I have moved between all the browsers, but Opera is the browser I have always felt at home with. It has all the power I need, with lots of customisation options, and power-user features. This USED to be Opera's problem, as the UI felt cluttered. However since Opera 10.50 this all changed, they did lots of tidy-up in the UI, and now it looks and feels fantastic.
Opera really does deliver the best of all worlds. It has the features (mail/rss/news/chat/widgets/turbo/OperaLink), it has the speed (10.60 totally obliterates Chrome in benchmarks), it has the best security track record of ANY browser, it's also the best for web standards complaince, 10.60 beefs up it's HTML5 support.
I used to recommend Opera to power-users, however these days I recommend it to ALL users.. It has the perfect balance of a great default setup, but still retains all the great features with a little bit of UI digging around. -

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I was hosting my website on a free webserver however files larger than a few Megabyte always failed to download. With Opera Unite I'm now serving the tutorial videos (90-240 MB) from my own Mac without a problem.
Thanks - great idea!
