The "Nokia Ovi Suite" is the most baddest software i've ever used. It will ask every day updation and if we couldn't update...it wont use no longer. So if i want to use i need to reinstall the application daily. Really its a useless software. I'm using it only because of my phone..i've no other way to take internet and finally i decide to give up the phone also.

Nothing really... Just that it allows you to send messages from your computer.
Cons
Absolutely slow and unresponsive.
I can click on a button and wait for a very long time but it just doesn't respond at all.
Spam clicking also delivers the same, irritating result.Summary

This is the ultimate definition of bloatware.

I have a theory that this huge waste of software engineering, called Ovi Suite, was a prelude to Nokia's demise in the mobile market.
Just look at it: All shiny. Pretty.
Now, use it: Slow. Buggy. Loss of previously available features (PC Suite). Loss of data.
It's not user friendly, it doesn't aid users in some important data back-up needs, at all! Wanna back-up (some of) your SMS's? Forget it! Sync Lotus Notes? Forget it! That's amazing...
Who OK-ed this? None of the developers saw how absolute terrible it really is? It's mind boggling this piece of binary data ever got published into the real world.
It's even more amazing that this bloatware still exists! If I were Nokia, I was pulling this from the net like lightning. It does terrible damage to an already damaged reputation...
Do not use this software, ever.
Get PC Suite instead (not perfect, but it has the user of a Nokia phone at full control) and avoid any update to Ovi Suite. -

Nokia ovi suit tags and lists all photoes and videos in the computer. The loading time is much more when u click on any photo. If you can give 8/10 for picassa, its like 1/10 for ovi for photos. 1 for the attempt.
Coming to messaging, etc, it is not seamless connectivity. All i wanted to do was to move all my messages from my e72 to my laptop. Been trying for the last 3 days. Feels like throwing this phone, which is good, thought not as good as i had expected. -

Slow, memory hog, eats up all your CPU-time, less functionality than PC suite.

I don't see how this could have ever been published. The software renders your PC useless by using up all your RAM and CPU-time. That's really really bad for an application that's mostly running on the background.
Furthermore, the application had LESS features than PC Suite! It seems all about a sort of gay lifestyle thing that Nokia seems to feel the need for to participate in. PC Suite wasn't the fasted software to use, but at least is was usable and didn't use up all your resources while running in the background.
Wow man, how could they ever make it THIS bad... And why would PC Suite have needed a successor anyway? -

1. I don't understand its purpose. Go to the Nokia website and try and figure out exactly what Ovi is meant to be.
2. It doesn't allow you to save SMS - NokiaPhotos, and its equally impressive pre-decessor, PC Suite, allowed you to save SMS in a wonderfully-designed interface.
3. 'Upgrading' to Ovi from the wonderful NokiaPhotos caused me to lose all my Nokia Photos data. I found my pics, but I lost the SMS messages.
Clearly, the designers at Nokia don't understand phone users and their REAL needs. They probably like to think they do, but really?
As a phone user, I imagine like a great many, would like to store my photos, my videos, my SMS (yes, like letters to loved ones, some of us like to keep certain messages) and backup my contacts. I really struggle to see how Ovi does any of that in an easy-to-use, user-friendly way.
Bottom line: AVOID and, if pestered to updgrade, then DON'T!!! -

Will suddenly stop syncing with a phone. It is bloated with useless features. The interface is unintuitive, bright and flashy. It spontaneously crashes. It will also freeze and need to be terminated in the Windows task manager.

I've tried to make this work many times with many different phones. Lucikilly, I've usually been able to fall back on PC Suite and ignore the nag windows urging me to "update" to this piece of junk. Sometimes it will sync, sometimes it won't. It might suddenly stop syncing with a phone that worked correctly before. It will sporadically crash too, even if it is just running idle in the background. It is bloated with useless features. It tries to railroad you into getting an account with the Nokia store.
I get the distinct impression that some marketing and management types got together in a big room with a box of crayons, put a sign on the door saying "ENGINEERS STAY OUT", and planned out this steaming turd of a program with no real-world input during conception. It's an ill-conceived patchwork of mismatched and unusable components, and it has been for years. Nokia clearly doesn't listen to the forums full of irritated ex-customers who hate this app.
