Simple menus and layout, download to specified directory, periodic updates
Didn't catch every podcast, canceling downloads does nothing, doesn't check for player connection before downloading, updates "Last Download" time even if downloads fail
My feelings can pretty much be summed up with the pros and cons, but I'll tell you specifically why I chose to uninstall this program.
My MP3 player connects like a flash drive, I can just drag and drop files if I want to. I setup Nimiq to download podcasts directly to my player. It works fine if you do things in the right order. I opened the program without connecting my player first and it tried to download anyway. I had 6 downloads stall and I was unable to cancel or clear them from the queue. I tried to retry the downloads but Nimiq already updated its timestamp and assumed those podcasts are already up to date.
Again, if you use it properly it does the trick, but it's not very forgiving at all.
It won't install because my installed version of .NET Framework is to new.
Really? I need to downgrade my software to use this?
It does just what it should and has a straightforward interface.
The only drawback is the absence of a scheduler feature, so you have to remember to turn it on and press "go" now and then.
There's no help function at all. If you don't already know how to use this, you're dead in the water. I thought I had it set to simply subscribe to one podcast, but nada. It's like the software is inert.
win 95 like interface
Requires .NET framework but won't install it. Takes you to a complicated .NET developer page where you are expected to figure out what to install before this program can be installed. Not worth it for any average user or a user who doesn't want to dick around.

that is a con about it but to download .net framework just go to the windows update page and if you don't have it you can download it through that.
