Version: Nimiq 1.31
"Requires .NET framework but won't install it."
Cons: Requires .NET framework but won't install it. Takes you to a complicated .NET developer page where you are expected to figure out what to install before this program can be installed. Not worth it for any average user or a user who doesn't want to dick around.

Version: Nimiq 1.31
"Excellent - small, easy and does the job"
Pros: It does just what it should and has a straightforward interface.
Cons: The only drawback is the absence of a scheduler feature, so you have to remember to turn it on and press "go" now and then.

Version: Nimiq 1.31
Pros: It's free
Cons: There's no help function at all. If you don't already know how to use this, you're dead in the water. I thought I had it set to simply subscribe to one podcast, but nada. It's like the software is inert.

Pros: Simple menus and layout, download to specified directory, periodic updates
Cons: Didn't catch every podcast, canceling downloads does nothing, doesn't check for player connection before downloading, updates "Last Download" time even if downloads fail
Summary: My feelings can pretty much be summed up with the pros and cons, but I'll tell you specifically why I chose to uninstall this program.
My MP3 player connects like a flash drive, I can just drag and drop files if I want to. I setup Nimiq ... read more >> - See all 6 user reviews Write review
