Paris Hilton has rarely been out of the tabloid headlines. Younger sister Nicky hasn't gained quite the same level of fame--or perhaps infamy--but is developing her own hard-partying reputation. This screensaver displays 20 images of the two heiresses, although we found the image quality to be marred by low resolution and JPEG overcompression. It does provide an extensive feature set, allowing users control over transition effects, image size, background, and the interval between images. A few special effects such as sepia tone are included. Any image can be used as wallpaper for a computer's desktop, and a virtual sticky note can be left on the screen while the program is running. No soundtrack is provided. The screensaver comes bundled with a separate Internet Explorer toolbar, so be cautious if you don't want this extra component on your computer. The program may well please those who are drawn to the Hilton sisters' charm, but other computer users are likely to look elsewhere.
