The Network Event Viewer enables System Administrators to view and sort multiple Windows XP/2000/NT event log files simultaneously. The event logs are downloaded from each selected network computer and archived. A downloading service enables the logs to be downloaded on a configured schedule for later review. The event logs can be merged into one view and view filters set. View filters include log (Application, System, and Security), and log type (Information, Warning, and Critical). Additionally, event log contents can be sorted by log type, host, date, event code, source, category, user, and log. Viewing merged event logs, System Administrators can troubleshoot network problems and provide proactive customer support. The Network Event Viewer also enables System Administrators to clear remote event logs enabling event logs to be rotated and drive space freed.
