Of course, you can create NFO files using any text editor. However the freeware utility considerably alleviates the process. You can insert logo, text box, URLs, and other graphics elements. In addition, it features templates that help you quickly make NFOs coming with ISOs and movies. The special buttons make it easier inserting pseudographics symbols. However, the program can t convert images into the ASCII graphics and doesn t let you draw ASCII files. NFO Creator may be useful to people distributing files over P2P networks.Publisher's description
From CyberLeading :NFO files are used to store text informations (like a text file) but with ASCI graphic. NFO Creator will generate the ASCI for you, with the setting you will choose. NFO creator is comparable to and advanced version of Notepad (included in windows). The program is in English and also in French.

"Great Program! DOES RUN IN VISTA!!! Here is how."
Pros: First off to run the installer in Windows Vista(all editions).
1.) Go to file directory and right click on the file and click properties
2.) Click on the "Compatibility" tab
3.) Set it for Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
4.) Install and Enjoy on Windows Vista
Overall this is one of the best NFO creators out there that you will find.
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about this program!

Summary: This is by far better than the other NFO makers I've used. All the other ones mess up on the font since I changed to XP, but this one, it stays all the same. It has easy access to all the special characters, and has a built in theme maker.
