Version: My Cafe Cup Platinum 2.12 build 2145
"works well but figuring out how everything works is not that easy"
Pros: I like the features where you can keep tabs on the client. The time and cost reminder on the client screen is a big help. Its seems to be a neat and efficient way to manage a lan, especially a cyber cafe.
Cons: The client freezes when the server pc crashes. And most of the time you cant get the client to unfreeze when you get the server back up. Its also a big pain that I cant shut down the client pc. The client pc freezes at the shutdown screen. I have to use the restart button. That inconvenience alone made me decide to uninstall. And the darn thing wont uninstall. I tried to disable it through msconfig on safe mode but now I have a blank desktop with no icons. Editing the nodesktop registry didnt help. Still no desktop. So i'm stuck with using the client until i get to figure how to make a clean and thorough uninstall. Otherwise it will have to be a full system re-install. crap.
