Version: Morpheus 4.8.2
"Much better but not there yet!"
Pros: A very nice interface, easy enough to use and after scanning for spyware I was happy to see there were none. I ran Shareaza on one computer and Morpheus on another. Both computers were of the same spec and both had a T1 internet connection. Morpheus took about a minute longer to connect to a network. I was suprised to see that Shareaza gave more results and in a quicker amount of time than Morpheus. Download speeds were quite good for both.
Cons: Morpheus takes up a LOT of memory. Performing a search and then immediately clicking on transfers to see the status of files already downloading caused the computer it was running on with 1024MB of RAM and a 3.2 GHz pentium 4 processor to freeze for a few minutes. All in all an improvemnet on previous versions but in the end Morpheus was shown the uninstall button and it's back to Shareaza.

"Perfect, the truth about Morpheus 4.8.2"
Pros: I do remember trying Morpheus about a month ago and I hated all the crap that came with it. I have tried everything, by Ares and Bearshare to Limewire and Shareaza. But when it came to Morpheus, the ads ripped it down. But now, even though the official Morpheus site says otehrwise, there is no spyware when downloaded from this website. It is great! I still use Limewire because Morpheus does consume alot of CPU, but if I had a newer computer, Morpheus would be my first choice. Connects all networks safely, and has great downloads speeds and awesome interface. And by the way things are looking, Morpheus 5 is going to push the limits and make all other P2P application running on all networks, look like crap! At this point, I will most definately have downloaded Morpheus 5 and be very satified!
Cons: For "not-so-new" computers, Morpheus consumes alot of CPU. However, the solution is simply not to run any other programs while using Morpheus. It is definately worth the download. NO ADWARE/SPYWARE/ANYTHING BAD! HONEST!

Cons: updater doesnt work when i downloaded this it was still version 4.8.1 cnet should not be giving false advertising i dont reccommend this at all use Limewire or Winmx

Pros: Plenty of sources but no more than a lot of others.
Cons: Full of rubbish.256 signatures worth.Better off using bearshare lite.Ive had much better results anyway.

i scanned my computer with ad-aware spy sweeper spybot and norton and found no trojans or spyware and no bundles were installed its just clean morpheus i love this
