Mobile Master is a PIM and synchronization tool for mobile phones and iPod. You can synchronize mobile phones (addresses and calendar) with Outlook (97-2007), Outlook Express, Windows address book, Windows contacts, Lotus Notes, Thunderbird or Sunbird, Palm Desktop, Novell Groupwise Tobit David InfoCenter. You can load, edit and save your phones address book, calendar and notes. Browse through the phones file system and copy files. Synchronize your iTunes playlists and files or copy WinAmp playlists to the phone.
What's new in this version: Version 8.5.2 has fixed bug in the synchronization which lead to doubled items.

"Excellent PC/Phone Syncronization Software"

This was the only product that I could find able to successfully syncronize contacts + calenders between a Nokia N 95 and Mozilla Thunderbird V.2 / Lightning V0.9. Connection can be made via Bluetooth (BlueSoleil 6 in my case) or the Nokia USB Cable.
Cons
Trial version will only sync a limited number of contacts and Calendar sync is only available in the Pro version. Registering the upgrade licence made MM crash, and I had to completely uninstall + then reinstall the program to fix the problem.
Summary
I previously used the Nokia PC Suite to sync with MS Outlook and have found that Mobile Master does a much better job with greater functionallity.
The program requires the latest Nokia Drivers in order to connect to the N Series Phones. This means that an out of date version of the Nokia PC Suite may have to be upgraded or removed when MM is installed.
I highly recommend the Professional Edition, but the Standard Edition works well enough if calendar sync and copy station are not important to the user. -

I could easily copy the data frmo my old Nokia phone to the new one. Great,

Does not work with Palm phones. If your phone isn't one of the ones listed in the setup menu, then it won't work.

I could easily copy my contacts and the appointments from my old Siemens to my new Sony Ericsson phone. Field mapping was done automatically. I just had to click next in the wizard. GREAT!
And now I even can sync my contacts with Thunderbird.

Simply said: great!
I now can sync my contacts with Lotus Notes and my Nokia 6230.
Setup was easy, and settings allows to apply the filters I need for synchronization, so that I have only the contacts in the cell phone I want to have, and I can swap first and last names in the phone. All things that the Nokia PC Suite is not able to do.
Cons
Well, the Nokia PC Suite is required, but I had that installed anyway.

The 6.8 installer will crash with a "Fatal Error" with this message: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". I was using Windows XP Pro, SP2 with Windows Installer 2.
