"Still a great game!"
Version: Midnight Mansion 1.1.2
Pros
I reviewed an earlier version, and the game continues to satisfy. There are multiple levels so kids to adults can play and have fun. The custom mansions provide a wide array of additional game options; some of them are very creatively built!
Cons
The challenging and addictive gameplay can lead me to spend more time on the game than originally intended. ;-)

"One of the best games I ever bought for my family!"
Version: Midnight Mansion 1.0.9
Pros
We tried the game before purchasing and fell in love with the selectable levels of gameplay. Our 6- and 8-yr olds both love the challenge of the game. As parents, we like the fact that it is kid-friendly, is relatively self-paced, presents a challenge to kids without totally frustrating them, and there are options to save/ pause the game at nearly any time (dinner, homework, piano practice, etc.) without having to start completely over.
The main set of mansions provides plenty of challenge, entertainment, and satisfaction; the additional uploaded custom mansions are also very impressive in their variety and attention to detail. I am looking forward to the pending Expansion Pack!
Software updates are delivered promptly after confirming and resolving issues. When asking direct questions to the author or user forum, replies seem to be prompt, courteous, and helpful. The forum is also family-friendly.
Overall, a great value for players from grade-school to grad-school!
Cons
I would like to see more flexibility for suspended games, especially in a multi-user environment. Perhaps add support as well for a single user to suspend multiple games.

"Simply Fantastic."
Version: Midnight Mansion 1.0.7
Pros
Midnight Mansion is an appealing, non-violent update of the kind of jumping, exploring, treasure-hunting game that I loved for years. Perfect for kids, parents, and devoted platform-gamers alike.
Cons
The only bad thing about this game is that more people haven't discovered it yet.

"Awesome game"
Version: Midnight Mansion 1.0.4
Summary

Truly an awesome game. I downloaded it about two weeks ago when I was feeling an urge for some 2d adventure. This thing delivered in spades - and I registered it after a few hours.
The thing is huge. 8 different mansions with 3 different difficulty levels. This effectively translates into 24 mansions, since they're all different. It's not one of those games where the "hard" setting is the same level all over again but with an extra enemy. You can tell that you're in the same mansion and things are sort of where they used to be, but the rooms are all slightly different and slightly tougher than they used to be.
I'm a little less than halfway through. It's hard, but not frustratingly impossible (usually).
A lot of love and care went into this game. I highly recommend it.
