Like a weatherman in a rumpled suit, MetWeather provides instant weather reports in a less-than-appealing package. First you're asked to register the program's trial version, which uses more than 16MB of space--leave the screen blank if you like. Once launched, MetWeather displays the current temperature, humidity, wind speed, and barometric pressure as well as any warnings, watches, and advisories. It also shows extended day forecasting and several radar images of your area, and allows you to see your data in a grid format or an LCD-like display. An optional display of current conditions with an adjustable opacity level appears above your system tray. The program's information is accurate, but its layout fits poorly in the diminutive interface. Since you can easily find the data presented here on the Web or in other applications free of charge, MetWeather's lack of visual appeal dampened our enthusiasm.Publisher's description

Version: MetWeather 1.1
"25 Bucks for a Weather Program? HaaaaaHAHahahahahaaaaa!"
Pros: Brings up a lot of information about weather and weather related conditions, and has the nice feature of showing how weather progresses through out the day. Nice, and thorough.
Cons: 1. It costs.
2. It costs $25!
It's just not sensible to pay for a weather tracking program, no matter what neat sizzle it might have, because there is a boatload of programs that are free and do about 95% of what this one does. I could see, maybe (a slight maybe) considering the possibility of thinking about wondering if I could conceive of paying maybe five or ten dollars, if it had some really, really useful function. Other than that, I find it impossible to recommend this very fine program.
