First Off:
Mcafee Site Advisor has linked this softwares browser to t35.com - t35.com is a well known site to High Jack your browser. Furthermore, t35.com is a frequent dealer of spyware, and a lot of it!
The providers of Maxthon Access have a great idea with the software in theory, but they need to link up with trustworthy partners.
Secondly:
The software created runtime errors that makes an uninstall very difficult to preform - not impossible, but difficult if
you do not know how to get the most out of your machine!
I can't comment on the performance of the software itself because when it comes to my
computer - safety comes first! When I get the first red link from Mcafee Site Advisor

Third:
My machine froze seconds after install! I had to reboot my machine to attempt getting it out, and at that time the runtime errors took place which made getting it out very difficult!
Once you get it out - for those of you who
don't take heed to the warnings - be sure
to clean your registry after you finally get it out! IT WILL BE JACKED UP TOO!

Pros
This small application rocks! Its only 4mb, installation is super easy and it performs perfectly. I can access all my files from my home or office computers from any web browser. Once you install the application on the PC you want to access, you just need to go through a web browser to access your computer. I can even access my files from my new Treo 700's web browser and it seems to know I am using a PDA for everything is scaled down for it!
This little application also allows me to share files directly from my PC to my friends and family without them having to install anything on their own computers. They just click on the link that is emailed to them and they can see only the files I have shared with them right off my computer! How cool is that?
The program is made by a company called Avvenu and from what I read off their website they say they use 128-bit SSL connection, so it seems pretty safe. I did email them and asked how it could be a free program and they told me that they will be offering a "premium" service in the near future which won't replace this, but just offer the user more features. Either way, I say get it now while its still free!
Cons
It can be a little slow and navigation needs some improvement, but it doesn't stop me from using it. Its free, what more can anyone ask for?
