MaxiVista can turn any spare PC into a second monitor for your primary PC. Connect up to four PCs via network and enjoy giant desktop real estate of up to 7,680x1,200 pixels. MaxiVista additionally allows controlling up to four PCs with one mouse and keyboard. MaxiVista also optionally mirrors the Primary PC's display contents to another PC. Pros: Great concept, great when it works well
Cons: Too many bugs and hassles to give it 4 or more stars. Hope some of the issues are fixed. Poor support.

Pros: If you have two PCs on your desktop its a must.
Cons: Does not work with Vista Aero.

"would be nice if vista didn't prevent this from working"
Pros: Seems like a simple program!
Cons: but vista doesn't allow a 3rd party vendor to handle additional display drivers
