MaxiVista turns any spare laptop or tablet into an extended dual monitor of your primary PC. Program windows can be extended and moved across both screens, as they would across one big monitor. Simply connect up to four PCs via Ethernet, a wireless LAN, FireWire, or a USB network and enjoy giant desktop real estate of up to 12,800x1,200 pixels. MaxiVista is based only on software, and there is no need to buy additional graphics cards or monitors. The program also can clone the screen content of one PC to another via a network connection.

Version 1.5.3 features an algorithm for screen-data compression for increased performance; automatic network configuration; and optimized screen-data transmission for wireless network connections.

"Amazing. It really works!"

Pros: The performance of the 2nd screen is just mindblowing. It is an amazing technology and it installs in a minute. You must give it a try if you have more than one computer!

"often just does not work"

Summary: At times, the software just does not work. The secondary monitor flickers, but cannot establish a connection. Ver 1.5.3 completely lacks any utility to trouble-shoot the connection.
