This program doesn't offer anything radically different from the horde of screensavers based on the hit sci-fi films, but it's free, which may woo some folks. Like many similar desktop decorators, Matrix Reloaded Screensaver scrolls the films' famous lines of computer code down your desktop. Behind the code, you'll see images of the trilogy's most famous characters, including Neo, Agent Smith, and Trinity. The soundtrack features music from the actual movies, but you can turn it off if it's not to your liking. You also can specify that the code and images appear in blue, green, red, or all three colors. This screensaver's greatest strengths are perhaps that it's totally free and it doesn't try to sneak adware onto your PC. Although not an essential for casual viewers, devoted fans of the Matrix movies will find this screensaver a worthy download.Publisher's description

Version: Matrix Reloaded Screensaver 1.0
"Changes screen resolution, as well as using up resources like they dont matter."
Pros: The concept, I really love the matrix movies.
Cons: It changed my screen resolution without permission or prior warning.
I have a good graphics card, 1 GB RAM, and a 3.40 Ghz Dual processor... yet it worked at 2 frames/second and made my desktop overheat.
NOT A RECCOMENDED DOWNLOAD.

"You should have taken the blue pill ..."
Cons: There are some problems with the Matrix Reloaded Screensaver. For instance, It installed okay but it installed an icon of itself on my desktop without asking me. Also, it doesn't have any screen resolutions above 1280 x 1024. You can not stop the background images or the giant clock from appearing if you want to see just the falling code. Speaking of the code, what appears are blurs of falling green stretched blobs. What I really didn't like was the way it can consume all of your ram while waiting for the screensaver to start. A couple of times when I started it, I had to kill the process through Windows Task Manager because it started consuming my 1 Gig of Ram 5 megs at a time. As for the screen resolution it is changed through the screensaver with the settings you set. When you run the screensaver the screen properties are changed automatically to the resolution you have set in the screensaver preferences but after it is finished it is supposed to return it back to normal. On occasion it crashed and left me to reset it manually. Finally, the music (Enigma), although nice, I don't ever recall ever being used in any of the three movies.

"Horribly flawed and old configuration."
Pros: The program is a combination of an older .SCR file in C:\Windows (which can't be used if you have AutoCAD installed, by the way) and a few files in C:\Program Files\ that allow some customization, but not much. It's free, so I can't expect too much, of course. However, it's outdated and the OpenGL is not compatible with the newer nVidia graphics processors or standards so when my computer tried to run it in software compatibility mode it ramped my processor and ate far too much memory, just to initialize. Probably pretty good a few years ago, but not any more.
Cons: Bad graphics compatibility and what a resource hog!

Version: Matrix Reloaded Screensaver 1.0
Pros: the music is OK
Cons: I didn't get the pictures of neo and the rest of the cast, and the codes should be scrolling all the way from top to bottom. the clock updates are not constant.
