Publisher's description of Mario Forever 4
From Buziol Games:Super Mario Forever is really a classic Mario remake. Once again you strap on your wrench and hardhat and guide the chubby plumber through many skillfully made levels. The diversity of the levels is very impressive. You will have to get through levels ranging from underwater caverns to levels filled with hot lava.
Version 4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

- Version reviewed: Mario Forever 4
Hearkening back to the heyday of Nintendo, this game faithfully reproduces the classic Super Mario Bros. Although Mario Forever's graphics and sound aren't identical to those of the original, they're so close most users familiar with the game won't be able to differentiate.
The basic platformer action hasn't changed either. As the feisty little plumber Mario, you traverse different worlds to collect coins while dodging enemies such as malevolent mushrooms and ill-tempered turtles. You won't find an extensive feature set, but you can at least change the keyboard controls or disable the music and sound effects.
However, we do think Mario Forever consumes a bit too much processor time, especially considering its outdated design. But if you were a fan of the 1980s classic Super Mario Bros., then we doubt this freebie will disappoint you.

"A great PC adaption of Mario"
Pros: Lots of challenging levels and a few easter eggs. Very fun and time consuming!
Cons: You have to install a Mario toolbar at first but then you can uninstall it separately.

Version: Mario Forever 4
Pros: the best free mario clone out there. great remake of the famous classical mario. the graphic have been updated with new animation effects but still have the old flavor of mario. the gameplay is just simply amazing, the game have several worlds and each world has few own unique levels(almost same with the one in the classical mario). the action and the sound is another reason why you must get this addicting mario game.despite all the feature you know about the classical mario, this game adds the mario remix, a small no-time limit level where you just keep playig until you run out of lives. since mostly everybody is familar with mario, i don't have to tell you much more details. just try it!

Version: Mario Forever 4
"Great game, but hard to play"
Pros: Game looks good and has the original game music and graphics.
Cons: Yes, the infamous Mario Toolbar. I didn't mind installing this with the game, but uninstalling it asks you to reboot the computer, which I hate doing to finish uninstalling a program.
I didn't get very far in the game and I had to uninstall it because it's very hard to play these types of games with a keyboard. I have yet to see any PC Mario game that lets you play using a gamepad. It's very hard on the hands to play a fast-paced game like this on a keyboard. They should at least include the option to play using devices other than a keyboard. Other than that, it looks and plays great.

Version: Mario Forever 4
Pros: A lot of fun and perhaps the most professional level freeware game I've ever played.
Cons: You have to install a toolbar with the game, but it can be immediately uninstalled and you can still keep the game. If you're not interested in the toolbar, it's a small price to pay for a great game.
