Works with no flaws. Never had an issue on any version of OS X.
Cons
None I can think of.
Summary
Works great as a screensaver or if you just want to run the program for a relaxing background. Highly recommended!

Not really a con as it is inevitable with such detailed resolution, but it uses a lot of video processing.

Well worth getting if you enjoy looking at fish or just having a visual treat, but make certain your computer can cope.

Some people had trouble with this on Intel, but it works on my MacBook Pro without any trouble. Still the best Screensaver around, but it's time they introduced some new fish, features etc...Agree about the customer service though. I haven't had a reply after 6 months, LOL! -

I've been using this for only a weekend, and I've already been getting comments on it!
It's nearly perfect. The only thing that I can think of that would make it 100% is downloadable fish. If I could add more fish to it, I would be in aquarium heaven. :)
As a side note, an option for the setting to be on a reef, rather than an aquarium would also be a welcome addition. -

It is absolutely gorgeous on my dual monitor setup on my 2.7GHz Power Mac.
I only wish that the fish could travel from one monitror to another.
I highly recommend it for those who want eye-candy. -

Hey this is a venerable screensaver, cross platform, etc.
Its pretty good.
But we gotta protect VersionTracker from shills...
The reviewers that have the phrase "Well Worth It" in the text and headline are definitely shills... Ignore their reviews.
Otherwise, decent screensaver, quite Zenlike, is the most expensive screensaver in all Mac-dom. Ehh.. Whatver. Universal Binary upgrade in this version -

v2.6 combines the clock saver with the marine saver. Well worth the $5.95 upgrade from v2. Definitely one of the best & most realistic screen savers out there. When used as a desktop screen saver, using one of many programs available here on VT, it always has that 'WoW!' factor. -

Okay... I cannot give this programs a very low rating because it works fine, and looks cool. However, I am very dissapointed the the vendor would use what I consider to be deceptive practices like changing $5.95 for a point release (I had 2.0 installed, and downloaded and installed 2.6). After installing the programs (screensaver and standalone app) it asked me for my key... no problem I thought. However after I entered my key (which I paid $20 bucks for!) I was told that my key was invalid. I sent this error message to the vendor and was told that I need to pay an additional $5.59. The web site is VERY deceptive about upgrades indicating "Marine Aquarium 2 has been released, featuring 5 new fish you should not live without. Existing customers of the download or CD version of Marine Aquarium 1.x can upgrade now for $5.95".
Anyway I don't recommend doing business with this company, there are plenty of other BETTER screensavers out there that are FREE. I learned my lesson.
